Two jewellery lovers, one Paris atelier
BigLittleBijoux began with two women who love jewellery and pearls. We wanted necklaces that wear colour lightly: stones and pearls chosen for their shade, assembled by hand in our Paris atelier.
01 — Colour
It all starts with a shade
The deep blue of lapis, the shimmer of mother of pearl, the sea-green of amazonite: every necklace begins with a colour, and everything else is composed around it.
02 — Composition
Alone or together
We design each necklace to stand on its own, and to sit well with the others. A short piece close to the neck, a longer one below: layering comes naturally.
03 — The atelier
Assembled by hand, in Paris.
Every necklace is put together by hand in our Paris atelier. We choose each stone, pearl and detail for its place in the whole: its colour, its light, its texture.
04 — Wearing
From ordinary days to evenings out
One piece for a touch of light, two or three for a bolder neckline. Our necklaces sit as well on a jumper or an open shirt as on an evening dress.
