Necklace length guide
Each length frames the neckline differently. Use the numbers on the drawing to see where a necklace will sit.
- Choker35 to 40 cm. Sits at the base of the neck, close to the skin.
- Princess42 to 48 cm. Rests on the collarbones; the most versatile length.
- Matinee50 to 60 cm. Falls above the bust, lovely with an open neckline.
- Opera70 to 85 cm. Worn long, or doubled for a shorter line.
- Rope90 cm and longer. Worn in one or several rows.
Measuring at home
Place a soft tape measure or a piece of string around your neck at the height you like, then measure it flat. Compare it with the length given in each piece's details, under “Materials and dimensions”.
Layering
Allow about 5 cm between each necklace so they fall in distinct lines without tangling. A short piece close to the neck with a longer one below is the simplest place to start.
