Caring for your jewellery
Your jewellery is made of natural stones and pearls, set by hand. These materials are delicate: they dislike water, perfume and household products. A few simple habits keep them beautiful for a long time.
When to take your necklace off
Put your necklace on once perfume, cream and make-up are on. Take it off before sleeping, swimming or exercising.
Away from water and perfume
Avoid contact with water, perfume, creams and cleaning products: they dull pearls and mother of pearl.
Clean your jewellery
After wearing it, wipe your necklace with a soft, dry cloth. Never use cleaning products, an ultrasonic bath or steam.
Store your jewellery
Keep each piece in its pouch, away from light and humidity. Kept apart, necklaces do not tangle and stones do not scratch one another: a hard stone can mark a softer pearl or mother of pearl.
Pearls and mother of pearl
Organic materials, pearls and mother of pearl are the most delicate: they dislike acids, perfume and swings in humidity. Store pearl necklaces flat, without hanging them.
Away from the sun
Some stones, such as rose quartz, can fade with long exposure to the sun. Keep your jewellery out of direct light.
